National Day of Service & United Way Day of Caring

Thursday, September 11

Day of Caring is an annual day of service that takes place on the second Thursday of September. Sponsored by United Way, BYU employees join over 1,000 other volunteers from corporate companies in completing over 60 service projects throughout the valley from 9 a.m. until noon.

For students and any others who may be unable to step away from campus, there will be pop-up service projects in the library, Joseph Smith Building and Tanner Building (10 a.m.–2 p.m.), and a blood drive in the Wilkinson Student Center (7 a.m.–1 p.m.). Click here to make a blood drive appointment.
