Service
Celebrate 150 Years of BYU with 150 Hours of Service!
Share your Light with Service
It’s BYU’s big 150th birthday—and what better way to celebrate than by "Sharing Your Light" through meaningful service! From August 2025 to June 2026, we’re inviting everyone—students, employees, alumni, and friends—to come together and complete 150 individual hours of service in honor of 150 years of BYU.
This is your chance to make a difference, connect with the BYU community around the world, and use your talents and knowledge for the benefit of others, as Jesus Christ did. Pick a cause you care about, record your hours, and share your experiences. Every hour counts, and every act of kindness shines a little brighter as we celebrate this milestone together.
